So many IT people in one place at one time, it was good to catch up with the DHB guys, to meet some of the new DHB guys, met the new CIO Grant Taylor, he seems like a really good guy, somewhat in contrast to his predecessor.

The other day I applied for leave, and got what first appeared to be a terse reply saying "fine, as long as it's not for a job application", which I assumed he mean interview.
